Heute müssen wir leider einen Line Up-Wechsel bekannt geben. Wie wahrscheinlich einige von euch schon mitbekommen haben, fällt leider am 26.11.2021 Box and The Twins krankheitsbedingt aus. Unten haben wir das offizielle Statement angehangen. Wir wünschen Box und Mike aus tiefstem Herzen viel Kraft in dieser schweren Zeit und der Zeit, die euch noch bevorsteht. Ich hoffe, wir können irgendwann mal das Konzert in Ilmenau nachholen. Die Bühne steht für euch bei uns immer offen und ihr seid immer herzlich willkommen.
Wir haben aber noch eine positive Nachricht für euch: Der Ersatz wird Grey Gallows aus Athens sein. Sie werden mit ihrem Darkwave bei uns ihre Deutschlandpremiere feiern. Lasst das euch nicht entgehen!
Box and the Twins Statement:
My dear friends, sometimes unexpected things happen and everything changes. In February, after a severe first flare, I was diagnosed with MS. My Multiple Sclerosis feels like a thunderstorm occupying my body. In which I am merely a guest. I must share my body with this disease now. I am not OK, and I won’t be for a while. I can’t imagine never going on stage again. But for now we decided to cancel all planned shows with Box and the Twins and focus on staying sane in light of a new reality. I’m grateful for everything that happened with the band; for all the wondrous adventures and the amazing people we met on the road. It was the life I had always wanted to live. I feel so much love for my friends, who are supporting me in finding my way through this darkness, helping me to cope and revolt against futility. And for Mike, who saved me a thousand times, who knows me and somehow still enjoys my company. For me, there will always be solace in music. Thank you for listening to ours. Today we unfortunately have to announce a line-up change. As some of you have probably already noticed, Box and The Twins will unfortunately be canceled on November 26th, 2021 due to illness. We have attached the official statement below. We wish Box and Mike a lot of strength from the bottom of our hearts in this difficult time and the time that still lies ahead. I hope we can catch up on the concert in Ilmenau one day. The stage is always open to you with us and you are always welcome.
But we still have some positive news for you: The replacement will be Grey Gallows from Athens. They will celebrate their German premiere with us with their Darkwave. Do not miss this!
